Men’s Ministry

At Journey of Faith Bellflower, we strive to biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church, and in their places of business. God has not only entrusted men with great responsibility but also with great authority. The positive impact men will have for the Kingdom of God will not come through an abuse of their power, but a proper, humble exercise of love and service. We accomplish this mission through Bible study, prayer, discipleship classes, evangelism training, leadership development, accountability (Life) groups, mentoring, and mission trips. It is our prayer that all husbands, all fathers, all men, will fight diligently to honor God with their hearts and lives.

Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry endeavors to unite women of various ages and diverse cultural backgrounds for service in God’s Kingdom. We strive to create an atmosphere through Bible study, worship, retreats and service projects, that will inspire women to love God, love themselves and to love one another. Our fellowship with one another allows us to strengthen each other with testimonies of God’s faithfulness and love. It is our desire that all those in our ministry will become strong, effective and virtuous women of God through the application of Biblical principles, thus impacting in their home, church and community for the cause of Christ.

Our Women’s Bible Study meets every Thursday from 9:30-11:15am (September – May)

Adult Sunday School

Our Adult Sunday School class meets on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 am.  Our regular teacher is Ken Granville. We rotate through both topical studies (i.e., community, spiritual gifts, fruit of the Spirit, etc.) and expository studies in various books of the Bible (i.e., Isaiah, Colossians, Romans, etc).  We study in an open atmosphere employing Socratic, question and answer, dialogue. Class participation is encouraged as we feel it adds to the collective growth of knowledge and wisdom in the group.

All adults are welcome to come study, share, and pray together as we consider how we “may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)
