Life Groups are meant to supplement Sunday church by focusing on deeper relationships, application from Sunday’s sermon and prayer for one another.

Many people who attend church struggle to be known and know others. Some of this is because of the usual format of a church service. During the majority of a service, one’s focus and attention is up front for worship and teaching. It is rarely on the people sitting around you. Life Groups allow for focused time where people get to comfortably hang out with people, share life and support one another through prayer!

Another common struggle for the church today is that we are educated in the Bible beyond our obedience. We hear many sermons over our life, but struggle to have the truth take root in us. In Life Groups we typically do not have a new independent Bible study, but instead focus on application based questions from Sundays sermon. This allows for an opportunity to not just hear the Word, but to “do what it says.” (James 1:22)

Anyone who has a desire to know more about Jesus Christ and the Bible can be in a Life Group. Life Groups are made up of Christians and sometimes people who are not Christian but are interested in knowing more about the faith.

There are two options for joining a Life Group.

First: You can contact the church and we will provide a list of Life Groups currently meeting in your area.

Second: You can start your own Life Group in your area. We will provide you with all the needed resources and training. Many people have started a group with local family, relatives, friends, or co-workers. We also encourage people to use Life Groups as an outreach to family or friends who don’t know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
